For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive . . . for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not as a results of works, so that no one may boast. (I Cor 15:22; Eph 2:8,9)

We traveled Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to get to our final desination. When we got to Windhoek, Namibia (where we flew), out hosts, Gary and Elizabeth Wilkins picked us up and we headed north to Tsumeb by car for 6 hours. We traveled the main highway that runs from North to South--it was only 2 lanes. The scenery was mountainous, and what we have heard of, THE bush. That's exactly what it is, a bush! The trees are acacia trees just like in Israel, but not very tall like the trees at home. The only animal that we saw along the road on the way to Tsumeb was a baboon.

The next day Dale road with Gary and covered 500 miles at $5.75 a gallon to stock a tilapia pond and check out possible well sites. I unpacked the pottery equipment and went with Elizabeth to grocery shop in a 3rd world country. We went to a farm and picked up vegetables, went to a lady whose family owned a farm to pick up game meat, and then to a grocery store which would not let us get a regular size grocery cart unless they saw that we were busting out at the seams on the little basket that we were carrying around.

Yesterday we decided to go to the Etoscha National Game Park since we would be working the rest of the time while here. We traveled for about 8 hours in the Game park and barely touched the vastness of this area. The Game Park was 22, 912 sq kilometers. I have posted some of the animals that we saw. I loved the Giraffe's and elephants best of all.

Today, Dale and I finished putting all the pottery equipment together. I had a pottery class for the girls and they loved it. At first only 2 girls said they wanted to try it, but after seeing the demonstration they all tried t their hand at throwing and would not stop playing with the clay until it was too dark-- there is no light outside where there workshop is set up.
