For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive . . . for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not as a results of works, so that no one may boast. (I Cor 15:22; Eph 2:8,9)

MEET PONY

This is "Pony." She is from south Namibia. Her mother is dying from aids. She is in the 11th grade and has a funny sense of humor. She likes american TV and knows many songs. She was recommended to the Wilkins hostel because she slept in the hall at another hostel that hardly had any supervision. Most of these girls have no home and have been on their own, even though officially they are suppose to be in a hostel. Before coming to this hostel, she spent most of her nights at the night club and hanging with whoever would have her. Living at the Wilkins hostel has been a shock to her because of the order,
supervision, and discipline. Nonetheless, she is trying hard. She calls Dale "ompa," as she giggles. Pray for Pony that she will understand how special she is to the Lord and that she will give her life fully to Him.
