For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive . . . for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not as a results of works, so that no one may boast. (I Cor 15:22; Eph 2:8,9)

These kids are participating in the church service. They got to read the Word of God, which they don't get to read very often. The Bibles that they read belonged to the church--they do not have any of their own.

The message was on the days that Jesus remained on the earth after He was raised from the dead. Elizabeth stressed the reality of His existence and resurrection, never to die again. Jesus had many eye-witnesses for days after He was resurrected. He continued to walk with them and teach them many things about who He was, citing the Old Testament as evidence. She also stressed the importance of being a witness to all nations--explaining the Good News, the death burial and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins and restoration to Father God. The Good News will come with power from the Holy Spirit to all those who believe.

It's most likely she is an orphan or her mother is dying from aids. These kids will come to this service until they are about 15 years old.

This young man read the Word of God with eloquence and fervor. Lord, I pray he become a strong man of God and take to heart your commission to take the gospel to all the nations with love, grace and power.

Isn't she a doll?! I helped her put a puzzle together. This was her first time to come to children's church. Her older sisters looked just like her.
