For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive . . . for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not as a results of works, so that no one may boast. (I Cor 15:22; Eph 2:8,9)

MEET SHALISTINA

This is Shalistina. She is in the 12th grade. Today someone messed up her pot that you see here. She was broken-hearted. I took advantage of the moment and shared with all the girls how fragile these pots are, and how fragile we can be as well. However, the potter can take the broken pieces and make them a useful and beautiful vessel. Then, I made Shalistina a pot of her very own.

As you can see, Shalistina is very thin and not because she wants to look like a movie star or model, but because she has probably never had enough food to eat. She is a sweet girl and is very talented (as you can see). Elizabeth believes that she is the only committed Christian in the bunch. They know nothing of her father and mother, except that she has her father's name--this means that her parents were together at her birth (whether living together or married). Please pray for Shelistina, she is fearful and lacks confidence.
